Dancing with My Shadow is a photographic journey celebrating the growth and wisdom that comes with age, and the bravery to reject society's expectations, particularly around women's body image and aging. This project captures the graceful movements of self-discovery and empowerment, where each photograph reflects the elegant dance of light and shadow, symbolizing the contrast between societal norms and personal authenticity.

OPENING RECEPTION Saturday July 13, 5 - 8 pm

Collateral Beauty is a collection of photographs taken in Death Valley. After the last Ice Age (128,000 years ago), Death Valley was a large lake teaming with life. However, due to climate change, the area saw temperatures rise and weather patterns shift, causing the lake and ecosystem to collapse (~10,000 years ago). This created an arid desert that we now know as Death Valley. Some may see it as damaged, but beauty is found as a result of the collapse. Even when all appears lost, if you look past tragedy, you will always find a positive point to start the healing process.

THROUGH A TRAIN WINDOW: A TRANSCONTINENTAL LOVE AFFAIR Riding the Amtrak train from New York to Seattle, Judith was unexpectedly smitten by the intimate views of the modest towns, the rough and secluded settlements smattered on the land, the empty back roads, working farms and ranches, slow moving waters, wide open fields and neglected urban backsides.
